Our newly established daycare is located in Farmingdale, NY, and is owned and operated by our licensed provider who has over 25 years of experience working with children. We believe that education is important, but how you teach it is crucial. Here at Little Start, we plan to provide a warm, stimulating, and friendly environment that will allow our children to promote fine and gross motor skills that are necessary for higher education.

Everything in our classroom is catered to the educational pursuit of our children. From puzzles to playtime to continuous interactions with one another, we allow our children to flourish in all fields of social and educational interaction. These efforts help establish basic skills within our children, making the development of our children, truly extraordinary! “My name is Rocio Gonzalez. I became a high school teacher at the age of 21 at the Central University of Ecuador in my home country of Ecuador. I have one degree in Physical Education and another one in History and Geography. I have worked as a teacher in different educational institutions, both at the primary and secondary levels. After six years of teaching in Ecuador, I decided to move to the United States to fulfill my dreams of becoming a teacher here. I learned English by taking remedial courses and then went on to obtain an Associates degree in Bilingual Education at La Guardia Community College. I then went on to further advance my educational career and got a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish at York College. I plan to obtain my Master’s degree in Bilingual Special Education. I have been working with children for many years, having worked at various daycares such as Mi Nuevo Mundo Daycare as a lead teacher, UCPN in Nassau as an educational assistant, A Child Place as a lead teacher and Spanish teacher for kindergarten to 5th grade students, and Safe Child Early Learning Center as a lead and UPK teacher. With the vast experience in education, I decided to open my own daycare, Little Start Group Daycare Corp, where I am the owner, provider and teacher. In my daycare, I put into practice all my knowledge and use all the techniques and didactic skills, as well as love and time to help children to develop their fine and gross motor skills. By helping them, they become independent children with love and respect for each other. I plan to expand my daycare and open up a daycare center to guide more children into successful children.”

We provide childcare for children starting from 6 weeks to 5 years of age. We also offer after-school to children up to 12 years of age.

Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. We offer part time and full time care.

We provide snacks and meals for all our children.

Our program offers a wide variety of activities that include but are not limited to: indoor and outdoor activities, circle time, puzzles, tracing, drawing, coloring, art & crafts, games, story time, painting and many more!

We have an outdoor play area where kids can go and enjoy the outdoors (weather permitting).

We offer summer camp between the months of June-August, exact dates TBA.

Tuition varies based on the schedule you have registered for your child. Rates are discussed ONLY during tours. Please contact us to schedule a tour.
